Note

Arrived in Australia 1st July 1951. by ship The Groote Beer
Went to the Migrant Hostels in Bathurst for 6 weeks and then to Megan where Dad worked in a Sawmill, we moved around the area to different Sawmills. We shifted to Briggsvale and Sheep Station Creek and even to Jimna in Queensland for a month, but each time we returned Megan until we moved to Wauchope in 1957, Dad still worked in sawmills. Mum and Dad moved to St. Mary’s in 1964, where he still found work in saw mills until he retired. Dad then spent his time doing odd jobs in the Fruit Shop around the corner from home in return for fruit, vegetables and lollies for the grandchildren and everyone that came to visit.
Dad died 19/02/1987 aged 70 years is buried St. Mary’s Sydney NSW 2760.
July 2008, Mum came to live with Wally and I at Albion Park Rail. Mum died 24/06/2015 aged 94 years at Albion Park Rail but was buried with dad in St. Mary’s Sydney NSW 2760.
The Family were Naturalized in Wauchope Council Chambers 24/05/1961.

We were just doing a little research and found a slight change to be made to Hendrik Piening, if you don't mind.

Dad had a Heart Attack on 14-2-1987 and was taken to Blacktown Hospital where he died on 19-2-1987 and was buried at St.Marys.
I know it is not much, but if, in the future someone is doing research, it just might make a difference to their search.

Regards

John
